My blog is about my thoughts on the sixty books I’ll be reading this year. My first love (not including my boyfriend, of course) is reading. I love love love to read. I love how books can deeply inspired you and how they can have a profound impact on your life and your mind.

I decided to start this blog in part because of my New Year’s Resolutions. I wanted to get back to writing desperately. With school and work, my writing (and my creativity) have suffered. I haven’t write anything creative since high school.

Also, this year, I wanted to read at least sixty books, as last year my resolution was to read fifty books and I actually read sixty-three.

Now it is February and I’ve already read five books, all of which I loved. Those books were:

  1. Yalta: The Price of Peace by S.M. Plokhy
  2. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
  3. One Day by David Nicolls
  4. Moneyball by Michael Lewis
  5. The Virgin Cure by Ami McKay

I won’t write a review on each of these right now, but I will be talking more about Hunger Games as I am reading the second book in the trilogy Catching Fire and I am hooked!
